In 1995, BSHG acquired the tradition-steeped home appliance manufacturer Gaggenau based in Baden.[1] The excellently positioned brand rounded off the Group's brand portfolio. Gaggenau was active in the key markets of Europe and U.S. thanks to a well-developed sales network and successfully recorded an annual revenue of 215 million deutschmarks.[2]
