The BSH site in Giengen is the oldest BSH production location. Founded in 1944, cooling appliances have been manufactured here since 1949. 14 refrigerators in total rolled off the production lines in the first year of production. Today, there are eight assembly lines in Giengen, producing around 1.6 million refrigerators and freezers every year. The plant, with its added logistics center, is one of the largest employers in the region with 2,800 employees.
